James W. Holmes is a member of the firm. He practices in the areas of estate planning and administration; individual, partnership and corporate taxation and tax disputes; and corporate and business law. Mr. Holmes regularly conducts seminars and lectures on Estate Planning concepts and annually attends Advanced Level National Estate Planning Seminars. He received his B.S. degree in accounting at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and received his J.D. from University of Memphis School of Law where he was the recipient of the Aaron Smith Tax Law Scholarship. Mr. Holmes has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1994. He is a member of the Kingsport and Tennessee Associations, the Tri-Cities Estate Planning Council, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the United States Tax Court.
